What is the SEIU hiding?

The SEIU made tried to silence Roy on the National Mall during the "March for America". And when asked questions about their own unemployed members, they didn't show much sympathy.

@cobrompton - Hello.Yes, but only to a certain extent. After years of rabid job growth in my former state due to ever larger immigrant groups arriving, fueling a thriving building industry, the companies involved started going out of business. Jobs, in the main & support-of-the-main sectors disappeared. Despite cutting down numerous trees & paving over most of the farms, they, literally ran out of vacant land to build on. The fact is there's only so much air, land & water. Peace.

@mjcamck I don't know if I would make an argument based on assuming a simplistic zero-sum-situation when it comes to jobs. I also believe tha immigrants are a stimulant to an ailing economy in many ways.

@cobrompton - Hello. I completely agree that pitting groups against each other is counter-productive. However, I have a serious question. The number of jobs in any nation are limited because the natural resources are. So, what choice do national governments really have except to put their own (legal) citizens first for limited jobs? Seriously. Why is it alright to let 25 million legal Americans be unemployed? Just asking. (I do have another solution). Peace.

LoL what is the point of having a union ..............................­..IF ALL THEY DO IS TRAVEL AROUND HARRASSING PEOPLE and not actually going to work? They wonder why they are shipping all the jobs over seas or giving them to undocumented workers, its because those people actually show up to work and are not off at some rally bugging people. I wish just once they would come out and say the truth "they want free stuff and not work for it". Like my dad once told a guy we saw "get a job hippie"!

Pitting groups of people against eachother is a great political strategy, but it won't solve many problems in the end.

@aliciakh8 - Wow you arent too bright, are you? The free market gave us higher wages. No one forces you to work for any job, so how did the union get you higher wages? Higher wages and benefits came about when there was a lack fo workers for jobs, and they offered benefits to attract better talent. Unions put businesses out of business.

If these thugs think intimidation and physical assault won any Americans over, they are WRONG. Now that I have seen multiple videos of them attacking people, I absolutely do NOT support unions anymore.

@aliciakh8 that would seem to be a negative as far as higher wages are concerned. When SEIU negotiates a wage cut with no recourse to change to a lower benefit plan to compesate for reduced wages, then I question the integrity of the union I'm paying dues to. If some unions have really gotten too political and corrupted, then I'm not surprised if more and more decertification happens in the 21st century.
