Nice. Spiral movement, it takes advantage of his motion when he tries to pummel under. This is a good application of the jin, but in a clinch context.
Props, brother. Keep training and making up new shit.

i like it. May I ask who your teacher is?

Nice work. A finer point of Beng Jin.

I actually liked your application here. It's always neat to see how the smaller moves in something like Xing Yi are what make and break an application.
I find that's how much of Gung Fu is, it's the smaller and more unexpexted movements that make the puzzle more complete.

If you have a deep understanding of a technique, you can apply it in many different situations. Great video.

Not to cast too much doubt but and I may be missing something here (as I don't do kung fu of any kind) but considering just how much pressure is constantly exerted on a greco wrestlers neck (collar and elbow position being the most evident, but also bridging) I do wonder if merely the surprise of the pull to the back of the head would work in lowering them so drastically. Do you frequently cross train as I find it is a great way of improving technique to apply it to someone who doesn't know it.

yes the surprise pull would work in lowering the head, but the application is actually on the entire spine. there is a rotational aspect in here too. that being said if your opponent knows what is going to happen he will probably be able to stop it.
yes i do cross train, but not in the modern concept i have been through external schools and internal schools, as opposed to a striking or grappling schools.

as a fellow xing yi lover, i can say, i like how this was adapted, in some of my instructional xing yi videos, i show a few ways to turn pi chuan into a takedown. i really like this man, keep it up
