Cesaria Evora - Homem Na Meio Di' Homem

This is my personal homenaje to Cesaria Evora, the great Cape Verdean singer known for her soulful interpretation of morna songs.
I listened to her for the first time when I was having dinner in a small restaurant in the southern Italy: that night I asked the waiter whose was the beautiful voice spreading all around, and he told me.
I bought Cesaria's double cd "Mornas & Coladeras" for my mother's birthday, and her beautiful voice started accompanying us through the days.

I chose this song in particular because I liked it long before I knew the exact meaning of the words, and I definitely fell in love with it when I read the message inside.

I think these are the words we need the most right now.

Thank you, Cesaria, for having gifted us with this beautiful, beautiful song.
