that's so cool, I should get one of these. It sounds good for some cardboard, but I doubt it could compete with my real upright bass.

@washtubbass i upgraded it to a 2 stringer a bigger box and nuts n bolts for tuners. thanks for the inspuration

i took 3 guitar tuners, weedwacker twine, some screws, a shoe box, and a small piece of wood, and a piece of oak and made a 3 string upright bass tuned to a-d-g. It is 1/4 size. the oak goes through the body and comes out the bottem acting like an endpin.

what material is used for the strings? i know its tuned to E A and D but what is used for the strings?

weed whacker twine. it just wouldnt make sense to use actual bass strings on a cardboard box bass.
