A Hike Around Fourmile Lake, Oregon

Mostly a video editing training project, this may be of use to those interested in visiting Fourmile Lake, high in Oregon's Cascade Mountains, overlooked by 9,495 ft Mt. McLouglin, and the surrounding trail network. Recording my Indian Summer overnight hike September 28-30, 2010. Seven lakes of various sizes in two days. Video taken with an Olympus Stylus 770sw, a small rugged submersible point and shoot digital camera. Native 320x240 15fps .avi video files edited in Sony Vegas Professional 9 and rendered in .mpg format. Most of the sound was pretty bad, typical for this camera in any less-than-ideal situations. Lakeshore wave and forest bird ambient sounds recorded previously while camped at Fourmile Lake with a Sony DCM-D50 PCM field Recorder using an Azden SMX10 shotgun microphone.
