The FIM-92 Stinger is a personal portable infrared homing surface-to-air missile developed in the United States and entered into service in 1981. Used by the militaries of the U.S. and by 29 other countries, the basic Stinger missile has to-date been responsible for 270 confirmed aircraft kills.[1] It is manufactured by Raytheon Missile Systems and under license by EADS in Germany, with 70,000 missiles produced. It is classified as a Man-Portable Air-Defense System.

  • Lmao I looked up 打飛機.

  • old strela shoot down f16 in iraq and have only 2000m range

  • sweeeeeeeeeeet!!!

  • sold in ebay!!!

  • @1ukjunglednbraver

Replacing them wouldn't be possible without the use of a factory and they can't be recharged. The batteries run out after three years. If any aircraft are being shot down by portable AA missiles, it's something from the old Soviet Union.

  • @SaturnVII there not so stupid that they wouldn't just recharge them or attach other battery's

  • To all aforementioned "Wonder if enemy combatants still have these" comments, the stingers given to them in the 80s would be useless now, their batteries haven run out.

  • CON ESAS ARMAS MATARON A LOS SECRETARIOS DE GOBERNACION EN MEXICO, EL NARCO LOS CONSIGUIO POR QUE ESTA HACIENDO JUSTICIA A LOS POBRES Y DESFAVORECIDOS DEL SISTEMA, EXISTEN MUCHOS DESEMPLEADOS Y ELLOS ESTAN A FAVOR DE QUE LOS GRINGOS NO HAGAN COSAS QUE NO EN TERRITORIO MEXICANO, VIVA MEXICO

  • @super00su All of the aforementioned (except the world trade center) are armed with AA/AG countermeasures. They just didn't deploy them for issues of collateral damage.

  • @kjb86 except those fly high enough to be out of range..
