@dhakirahjami I hate it. It tightens locks by lifting the cuticles with promotes tangling. It also allows moisture to leave the core of the hair and dries it the F out.

@safrica9 I am glad it works for you. Because Henna acts similar to a protein treatment it can work wonders for some but for others it can make hair dry, brittle and lack sheen. I hope it continues to work well though cause it is a great product.

@safrica9 Thank you

You're so knowledgeable and candid. I always love your videos.

Henna protects hair, binds with keratin, deposits protein & fills in all those gaps/damage in the hair shaft. Rosemary (herbal rinse) is a natural conditioner. Henna and various herbs have antiseptic & antifungal properties. I've opted for those over traditional shampoo/conditioner to maintain my locs.

Have you heard about using salt water on your locs? What is your opinion of this?

Very good info. My question is, should I use a conditioning shampoo, or use a seperate shampoo and conditoner? and seeing as how beautiful your locs are, what shampoo, conditioners, scalp oil, etc, do you recommend? And should you deep condition? I currently use organic root stimulator lock and twist gel, and african pride conditioning shampoo. And I oil my scalp every few days with blue magic organics, super sure grow. I would also appreciate feedback from any one else who read this.
