And you are threaten by the Bible will destroy your idea of magical Aliens. It works both ways. At least the Bible God offers a resurrection, justice, hope and peace. Your alien friends travel 7+ lights years or more and don't offer anything to humanity..but some lights shows...wich rational people all know its simply military flares. Anyway....

And then you bring in religion and faith...I will tell you why all these religious fanatics are so anti alien, they are all afraid that if ETs are discovered then the Christian philosophy of creation is completely wrong if there was evidence of life on other planets then the idea of creation would be entirely different...scary isn't it?

Only in the last 30-40 years has man been able to go to the furthest depths of our oceans and before that they were also faced with limitations, but look at us now discovering whole new world under the ocean you don't think the same could be done with space? What about the NASA program started with Apollo that they couldn't even land and now they have space shuttle that takes off and lands on its own its only time before they find a power source with unlimited potential its called progress!
