And it is the most vile corruption of the English language to suggest that the people who are paying ALMOST ALL of the taxes are not "sacrificing" enough, while the people paying NO TAXES AT ALL are the people who are being ripped off!

Logic? Logic would dictate that having government take over operation of health care has ALWAYS been a disastrous idea, and can never result in anything but higher costs or lower quality of care.

America DOES provide health care for any person who needs it on an emergency basis. The problem with the patient is not access to health care, but personal economic irresponsibility. The problem with the care is prices being driven up by the corporatist removal of market forces from the industry.

I'm sorry but carter was right on many things. Including health care. The problem that america is a nation that cant provide healthcare to every citizen as the biggest and best on the world is ridiculous. Do not oppose betterment of the general public. An advanced civilization should have guaranteed healthcare. This is for progress. And it the right time as well.

This will eventually mean that we save a lot of lives and more genius people among us may be saved as well. Think progress, logic.

Propagainda (misspelled intentionally) aside, there is a fundamental philosophy at play here that is the reason we need to get this guy out of office and, unfortunately, the reason none of the Republican contenders will be any better. It's that word 'sacrifice'. Sacrifice? On who's alter, to what end, to who's benefit, and by what means? What a horrible image, violent, in fact, to suggest them masses willingly surrender their means of survival for their government. Who is serving who?
