Dirt hole and adobe

Long story short: My house has a dirt hole six feet across in the concrete floor in a large room I call the atrium.
I've had a plastic sheet in it and had it covered with an area rug forever, but now I want to make it a real floor-like area.
I'm trying to fix my house up to rent it (before I lose it), but I bought the house unfinished from the bank several years ago (it was a repo, and I could afford it), and there's still a lot to be done to it to make it more habitable.
I filmed several segments last week when I was working on the hole, and used them today to practice editing.

It was really interesting to see that you still have the pleated window shade on the window next to the front goor that I hung up there 5 1/2 years ago when I stayed with you. I love Shea; I'm glad I gave her to you. Silly helpful goose...
