The Komodo dragon is probably one of the least known animals on Earth. But, it is definitely one of the most fascinating. Not only because of its extraordinary past as one of the last remainders of the dinosaur era, but also due to the mystery surrounding its presence reduced to this small island of the Indonesian archipelago. Man has observed few of the Komodo dragon's behavior, and scientific knowledge of the species is thus very limited. The filming of this enlightening documentary lasted thirteen months, in conjunction with a scientific program directed by Professor Pierre Pfeffer, head of the Museum of Natural History of Paris. Above all else, KOMODO DRAGONS helps us discover this surprising animal which never ceases to astound with its body, its relationship with other animals, its diet, hunting and swimming techniques and unusual living conditions.
A 52 minutes documentary directed by Christian Cascio and coproduced by Marathon Productions-Docstar and Canal+.
