On my birthday party in April 2004 I tried to organize some Karaoke, of course without TV screen and lyrics. The first song on this evening was Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. After four songs I got thrown out of the DJ booth because all the guests were complaining. Luckily this guy was the first one singing.
I published the recording in September 2004 on a web compilation. It was hugely successful, made its way to some other compilations and onto the playlists of freeform radio station WFMU.
