speedo shows 175 at 4800 RPM.. then reaches 180 at 4900... then RPMs climb to 5100-5150 which is ~187 kph, not 200. The speedo displays 5% higher speed, so... actual speed was ~178kph.

dude.. u r right.. but this car can easily touch 170 in 4th gear.. i have put platinum plug on it.. nothing else. one my frnd followd me wish his lumina ss.. he said top speed is 207km.
and its manual tansmission.

yes, it is...
only the changes i made, instead of 185/60 tyre i hav put 195/55 and replaced Spark plugs to Platinum plugs.
