  • i wish it was 1979 again..sigh...

  • Love this vid. It's one of my favorites!!

Something about those girls. Their dancing is not good, their looks aren't that stunning but I just can't take my eyes off them!

They move like no other dancers I've ever seen. What have they got???

    Anyone else think the same?

  • @GeXeS You sure you're not talking about the one in the gold dress??? Looked liked SHE was coming close to a wardrobe malfunction! Lol!

  • @blackwelderadam Nonono, it's definitely the zebra-dressed one! But they're giving her too little camera time because of her falling-out boobs XD

  • Yes there is some thing special about the late 70,s early 80,s and the women of that time...

  • Ha ha ha....Oh man, Andy's a terrible dancer!

  • @illPhillis She's my favorite, too!

  • @pongtubepete the girl with red stockings that Colin walks upto at the beginning is my favorite

  • @pongtubepete They kinda remind me of the dancing in the movie 'The Party Animal' during the drugs scene.

  • This is a new wave classic! The new wave era was an interesting time. It was just as important a period as the psychedelic 60s, Beatlemania, etc. XTC, The Police, Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello, Blondie, Devo, Split Enz, Gary Numan, The Cars and a ton more gave a real signature to the era.

But by 1983, the new romantics were coming in and new nave morphed out of its original idiom.

Too bad we can't physically visit the past routinely, I would book a lot of tickets for the late 70s and early 80s.

  • This one of my favorite songs by XTC, I've been a fan of XTC for 11 years. I'll always like XTC more than any other band out there.

  • oh andy, what a goofball. colin looks great in this one!
