Car: `97 Pontiac Grand Am
Engine: 3800 series II Supercharged
Transmission: 4T65E-HD Auto
Wheels: 205-55-16 Firestone Firehawks on stock rims
Mods: CAI, Exhaust, Intrax Springs

Dont mind the check engine light. I know I have a bad O2 sensor. ;) Other than a few minor annoyances which will be worked out soon, the car took me a month to fab parts and complete the engine swap. It runs great. Other than fighting for traction like in this vid, it's a blast to drive! :)

  • This is very nice, i have a 93 GP with a l36 bottom end with a s/c top swap, my problem is i dont believe im sending enough fuel to the rail, i still have a 3.1 fuel pump, did you have to change your fuel pump? Let me know, thanks!

  • @DelawareGP I'm still running the stock grand am fuel pump and it's holding up fine so far with the engine lightly modded w/ the typical 3.4" pulley setup. What makes you think you're not getting enough fuel? If your top-swap is the only mod, it's incredibly likely you're seeing massive amounts of kr on the stock sc pulley b/c of the higher compression of the L36. Have you scanned for kr?

  • @DeathbyBinary Your computer could be pulling a lot of timing to counteract the knock, and robbing you of a lot of power in the process
