those pictures of spaniards are of modern day spain. before the spanish mixed with all different types of people, they were just as white as the irish. in fact in the nothern parts of portugal and spain they spoke gaelic. and to this day the northern parts of spain is very celtic.

The original Spanish people were Germanic. They were Visigoths/ descended of Visigoths and had light features similar to us Germans. Because Moors and Arabs from North Africa ( Morocco ) mingled with them, it gives them a darker look or a " Arab look ". Still, not all Spaniards are mixed.

First of all, in the Iberian peninsula there were Iberians (as you can probably understand) and Celtics (in the north). Well, and the Basques, which are believed to come from the zone of the Urals. Then, the Roman expansion (200 b.C), the Visigothic settlement (400 a.C) and the Islamic arrival in the south (711 a.C.) set basically the current appearance of the "Spaniards". But anyway, each part of Spain has a general characteristic appearance, which doesn´t mean that it´s always in that way.

Ahm... Showing just few pictures of some spanish (and no spanish, I saw some people from Latin-America ^^U) people doesn´t mean that everyone is as brown skinned as you show here. Obviously, in the south part of Spain people TEND to have a slightly darker skin, and in the north more pale. And, excuse me, you´d better get in touch with history... Spanish population is a result of various migrations.

Why would latinos or Spaniards have an inferiority complex. Look at the celts, first of, theyre the ugliest palest people i have ever seen in my life, they look like deformed ghosts. Spanish girls are so hot and fit, and full of life and energy and swagger.
