http://sandiegozooglobal.org The San Diego Zoo Global Wildlife Conservancy is planting 10,000 native grass seedlings to aid in the recovery of endangered Stephens' kangaroo rats. The translocation of 150 kangaroo rats in 2011 has been successful, already doubling the population of this 4-inch-long rodent.
