  • Hey!

I'm not using any triggers, never had, only acoustic microphones. The snare is a Tama Starclassic B/B 14x6.5. I'm using an Iron Cobra Rolling Glide in this clip and used to play the Flexi Glide before. It's true that I have a Trick Pro 1-V too that I'm using for my practise kit at home, but I'm using the Rolling Glide live.

Thanks for all the nice comments, that's what keep the drum community going! :-)

    Cheers

    Wildoer

  • Pete is so underrated. He's one of the best 5 drummers in the world. Easily.

  • LOL !!! I've seen this video 19 times... and still like it every single time, more, and more !!!

so pleasant to see "real brutal drummer", with all those means.

  • The best Metal drummer in the world NOW.

the black dalia shit... has no idea...

    THIS IS A DRUMMER>>> fools !!!

  • @acdcfreakNr1 for real?? wow! you know what was really cool? how he impressed the Dream Theater guys when he auditioned. He didn't get the job but Petrucci and Rudess looked very surprised.

  • @malteadotas4 peter is my math teacher :P

  • He's so good, its not fair lmao

  • @Siggedrummer I don't use that snare trigger for triggering a module or triggered sound. It's used as an acoustic microphone. The trigger just makes a click/pop sound that is great to blend with the other snare mics and gives an extra crack for the rimshot sound.

I think Fredrik of Mehuggah was the first one to experiment with this years almost 15 years ago. Dirk Verbeuren also uses the snare trig the same way.

When in the studio I use triggers on toms to control gates if I don't edit them.

  • peter wildoer is the man.

he was the top 3 at the dreamtheather audition, and they didnt chose him just b-cuz he seems to be a heavyer style and also he was much younger than all of them, mike was more like them... and they never say mike was the superior drummer of the top 3... they say, he was the right choise for the band.

peter wildoer number 1 in the world!!!!

  • @Wildoerfaren Hey man. Your saying you do not use triggers right ?.. Then why do i see a trigger on your snare ;) ?

  • @sickdrummerdotcom mike plays with them since january? and this "documentary" was just put out 4 month after the drummer-decision?

  • Amazing. Wildoer was the first drummer I saw use a second snare (before Roddy on I Monarch) and the first I saw use the little bell cymbals in fills and patterns for that little tinkly sound which really stands out (before Haley in Psycroptic and Adler in LoG).

Love the style and love the Darkane!
