I have developed a connection to all of Leo Kottke's songs, and this one especially I wanted to make a slideshow for. This song is not by me but by Leo Kottke, it is very obvious because it says it in the video and title, please do not try and copywright infringe on me. I have credited.

I still don't know if he meant bus or dog but I think of the dog and of course the state of Arkansas

Please enjoy

  • I believe Leo was riding through the great Ozark Mountains on a greyhound bus and was inspired by the simplistic beauty of this great state of arkansas!

  • We absolutely have dog racing in Arkansas. West Memphis offers Southland Greyhound Park and they have one of the best adoption option onsite facilities in the country! I had two g's for many years. Best dogs ever. AND my dad was a greyhound bus driver! So get on the bus and enjoy the ride!

  • Bus? Dog? What a mystery. I don't think they race gryhounds in Arkansas. Been there didn't do that. I've seen them racing in Florida. It's a big deal there. So who knows. Whatever the title I really love this piece. Thank you.

  • Gotta love this song, especially the slow period in the beginning. I love Leo Kottke's music, this is great 5 stars and faved! :D

  • wonderful piece of music isn't it.

You're right, I've never known for years which he meant - there's a definite bus/dog dichotomy in the title :p

  • Neat compilation man.
