@RennyRoo18 My mother was the go-between. My dad was the only one who drove so she'd send him to get the pads, I got it shortly before she hit menopause so she was still getting them at the time as well.

lol I remember my first period talk with my dad. Embarrassing. But he was cool getting me my feminine things. So glad to have a dad like that. He'll even look for some Ibuprofen for me when I have cramps. :)

Wish I had a Dad like Dan. He didn't really know what to say but at least he didn't ignore it and keep it awkward. I remember when my sister THOUGHT I got my first period. My sisters are all way older than me so I was 12 and this sister was in her Mid Twenties. I came walking out of the bathroom and said "Mom, can I talk to you" I was asking her if I could go to a friends but my sister interrupted me, and said OMG you're a woman now, came running to me and gave me a hug. It was so embarrassing.

I love how Dan has akward talks about his kids hitting puberty in the garage. lol
Like here and with DJ in "Homeward Bound"

I Love it when DJ Come out of the Blue like that he so cute and funny How do I Look Dad lol
"these are a girl's things as long as a girl is using them"
she always has such a sweet way of explaining things to the kids.
I remember the one where the sisters told DJ he was an accident and she told him "you weren't an accident, you were a surprise" or something like that.
Anyways she's so sweet and such a good mother. <3

I love this episode, Roseanne is such an awesome Mom. I mean she tells her daughter exactly what mothers should say to a young woman at this stage.
