This is basically the same thing with the emotes.
Put some cards in and then trade them in for a random secret card. Unless secret cards are exclusive only. But i think it's guaranteed since i only see mini boss cards and boss cards being used

Hold on. I don't quite get it. He puts some cards in then he gets another card? Is this like, card combinations or throw whatever the hell I want then get something at random?

@roonike2 yep and some of those cards will be NPCs that are not shown in the game but are related to the story such as the 3 assassin girls from the Assassin Guild who supports Lass.
