Hindenburg Disaster

The World's largest airship took off from Frankfurt and caught fire as it was mooring upon arrival at Lakehurst Naval Air Station, New Jersey. 36 people were killed and the airship burnt out in less than one minute.

In the movie from 1975, when the front of the ship comes down, you can see a guy fall out, and he's on fire.

That must have been an unbelieveable sight for the cameraman who shot the footage from 1:00 to 1:53 -- that huge thing just collapsing and incinerating itself
