I totally get you. SO many of us do I think. I'm 22 (well in 5 days I'll be 22) and today is my first day of my last semester at college - I'll be graduating in May. I still feel like a teenager. I don't want to grow up and get a life complete with a permanent relationship & career - I'm happy being addicted to YouTube etc. But at the same time I do want those things - I don't want to be a failure when I get older and not have those things lol!! :P

I get paid by the government to read books, listen to music, masturbate, and try desperately to avoid the capitalist death machine while simultaneously pretending to aspire to be part of it.

Also, I had a mini-meltdown at 15 because I was officially halfway to 30. Now that I am 21, I want to die.

I am kidding about the wanting to die bit; I'm actually an obsessive-compulsive liver. I am constantly eliminating toxins. Sorry; I'm finding it difficult to stop typing.

Okay, I know this video is over a month old, but I'm catching up on my YT subscriptions. Anyway, my quarter life crisis happened when I was 21, and people looked at me funny when I called it that, like I was too young for a life crisis. I ended up dropping out of college for various reasons, and I've been working ever since then. I planned to go back after I turned 24, but that didn't happen, so now I'm 25 and only have a slight idea what to do with my life, but it's okay. I'm getting there.

thank you. i'm 22 and going through this. at times i feel as though i squandered my best years. other times, i feel the way i did then, wronged and nobly suffering.

i think you should write a book. you're wonderfully articulate and have already developed a personal brand, so why not? make it about how to be 23.

You seem to really be into civil rights and animal rights. Something along those lines?

I'm only suggesting it as things to look to for the future. You may be happy with where you are now, but there may be other things you want to reach for too. Just think about what you want from life in its entirety, not just in your world right now.
