Canon EF 400mm Demo

A bit of spare time to muck around today so I thought I'd hook my 5D MkII (with a 16-35) to my monopod with a magic arm to give you an idea of the field of view difference between a 16mm lens on a full frame camera compared to a 400mm lens on a 1.3x crop DSLR (equivalent to 520mm on a full frame camera).
It's not that exciting but hopefully it's better than a poke in the eye! :-)

@Zepppster I disagree, for instance a soccer match, were u want to shoot the moment were 2 players running forward towards you battle over the ball. You rapid fire them, and suddenly one of them elbows the other in the nose. You cant anticipate that, but have caught it, aswell as the moment before that were there still battling over the ball, instead of using foul tactics.

@snuurtje its not sheer luck. Its about knowing the moment, pre-visualization, etc. Having that capability is extremely nice, especially for action shots. However, when shooting soccer practice or even a professional game, its not really needed IMO.
