i created "SharingUniverse" (all one word) on Facebook. it's based on Jacque's Item Library idea. so yeah. his ideas and his world is coming to be true. you myself and people like us are gonna make it come true. young jacque fresco's like us.
and people are joining up. Join up and say hi.
anything you want we lend out to borrow for 4-8 weeks. just use your imagination.
and ask us for whatever you want. musical instruments, laptops, games, whatever.

@ivnat77 Ok my friend, i wish you a happy new 2012, and i hope it won't be our last year :)

Great you are not:) People say many things and most of them are romantic and pointless. We have to restructure our language in order for it to have meaning (I will refer to JF's speech about modern language, which you might heard where he recommends the book "Tyranny of words"). And in most cases word "god" would mean the "creator" unless you mean it otherwise and let others know. But it is better to avoid these common meaning-benders. See my point? Wishing you well :)

The 'Memory Metal' is really cool! Reminds me of what the site, Inventables [dot] com, has on their site. Lots of cool stuff there like that.

Se my prior answer on yor reply (i've posted two on your last comment)
So when you say "people should be good" it doesn't mean anything to me. but if you say "people should feel satisfied with their own contribution to the enviroment around them" (or what your trying to say), then I can understand you. But just saying "be good" doesn't mean a shit.
-
Ok if you mean "good" as a feeling you're talking about something similar to "satisfaction". Feelings can be measured obejctively by measureing the diefferent levels of hormons in the body and to what degree the brain react to this concentration, and how it react. But "good" is totaly subjective in the generall sense. For example: Is exercising good if i want to get fat? no. Is it good if i want to be fit? yes. Is exersicing good? Impossible to tell.
-
Well I've said nothing about teaching or applying "goodness", I've just said that I don't understand what you mean with "good" and that the phrase can mean many things under different circumstances because it's a extremly subjective word. An action that migth be percieved as good might also be percieved as bad by some other. This is the generall case in left-/right-politics debates and a clear argument why politics for example is a failed approach.
god damn, I really badly wish that we'd grow beyond what we're doing now and actually do what Fresco's speaking about
