Shes important because she´s the one gettin Ritsuka open himself for other people.
Because of Yuiko he has friends and isn´t alone anymore in the same way he was before....

this is the second anime i had to cry over at the end when yuiko 'died' and about what soubi said when ritsuka asked him if soubi would kill him if seimei ordered him to.
