@carpediem4utube Windows Movie Maker is free and should already be installed on your computer. It's a beginner level video editor so there shouldn't be a problem.

Hehe, I don't think I've heard of this particular phrase (大米桶) - the one I'm used to is "饭桶" which also means rice barrel. The difference is that 米 is uncooked rice and 饭 is cooked rice. I believe calling someone "饭桶" is basically calling someone useless - i.e. all s/he does is eat (rice) a lot and do nothing...which I ardently hope to avoid doing ;-p
Thank you all for your very kind words!

How would you say: " What's up?"
steve91803 3 years ago
dz-way4 jin4 ke3 hao3?
dz-way4 jin4 = lately
ke3 hao3 = is good
Combined meaning "Are you doing well lately?" This is the closest phrase I can think of that's close to "what's up".
Cheers,
d

You need to put subtitles with those words in Mandarin adapted to the Latin alphabet because I have doubts
Thank you very much for teaching us Mandarin! ;)

Don't have a video editor to do this - anyone got suggestions on something fairly cheap and easy to use?
