Automated Paintball Sentry

This is a video made for our senior design project at Saint Cloud State, the autonomous paintball sentry. It was made completely from a team of three EEs. Its got some really sweet features like velocity prediction so it leads the target and an overhead hopper with a 500 round capacity. You may notice in the video the markers change, the $50 marker dies after about 200 shots and we had to buy a completely different gun and try to modify it in 24 hours.

if u ever would improve and sell this i would suggest making the system more durable because you would be screwed if that got shot in the computer. would suggest a strong metal coating and a rubber layer in between the layer of metal and the computer. Also i would suggest to put a lock on the ball storage,computer, and make sure that the turret cant be broken by hand ex: some person kicking the gun off the stand breaking Wat i would think a very expensive machine
