Autism Speaks: shut the *!@& up!

A very simple message to a charity run by people so moronic they cannot understand when their actions are not appreciated by the people they claim to be representing. Or why. Very occasional coarse language is used in order to highlight the fact that in a just, well-run world, I would not have to be putting out this message to begin with.

Please note: The woman shown in this video is not actually a member of the terrorist group Autism Speaks. This is a clip from the final episode of the television series Dark Angel, used specifically in order to inform a very dense public of what autistic adults think of Autism Speaks.

There is a big difference between looking for a cure and eradicating a group of people. If there even is a cure it wouldn't be forced on anyone. I understand that many people with aspergers wouldn't change a thing, and I completely respect that, but there are a lot of kids with very severe autism. I am very close to one of those kids and it is not something anyone or family should have to go through if it is preventable in anyway.

@layne24 Even your language implies murderous intent. The only way you could have prevented me from being born autistic is to abort me, and while I often wish I had never been born, being autistic has exactly ZERO to do with that.

And these "kids" you speak of... ever occur to you that doing the right thing at the right time results in better outcomes? Or is it just all our fault because we are autistic?

That is not Suzanne Wright people, it is from a freaking tv show. Don't understand the anger here, AS is mainly parents of autistic children and other good people donating their time to help out.

@layne24 Autism Speaks is people who have no understanding of the realities of being autistic spreading lies and disinformation with the intent of eradicating us. They donate nothing unless you count giving huge amounts of money to celebrities who should know better, and the only way in which they can be said to help out is by unifying the autistic against them.
