Thin White Rope - Film theme
album: 1990 Squatter's Right
Lyrics (more or less):
In the moonlit night
Shaking cigarettes and searching
For the light
And for something else besides
With drugged eyes
Cats look for love
And for something else besides
City roars like a tiger
Wind has meet his time
Silence, it was saxophone, she cried
But just a single note escapes
Why should it care
Someone will like melody somewhere
An empty chair
In the moonlit night
Love that grows from fear
May grow so strong
That it exposes
What was meant to hide
But, loneliness is bearable
You'll find, except sometimes
In the moonlit night
For me too one of the greatest rock band ever. I remember their concerts in Italy as important part of my youth. Amazing band, Guy Kyser and Roger Kunkel today would deserve more media exposure. I was so sad the day they left. I'd pay for a reunion... ^_^

I'd like so much to have the lyrics of this song, can anybody help me? English is not my first language.

This band is part of my imaginary like a ghost that has never left. I was a follower since the first album.
I still listen this stuff from time to time. What a visceral sound Thin White Rope gave us, right? One of my favorite bands of all time.

Amazing song, amazing band. Quite ahead of their times & as a result neglected & unsung. Many thanks for the upload.
