Joan - Animal Crossing City Folk Special Visitors

Joan is the turnip peddler that comes every Sunday between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. She sells white turnips in bunches of ten (the price varies depending on the Stalk Market), and one red turnip seed for 1,000 bells. To get the red turnip seed, you have to talk to Joan as early as you can, otherwise, she'll say that she's all sold out. The red turnip seed is hard to take care of because once you plant it, you have to water it EVERY day. If you miss even one day, it'll die. You can sell the turnip once it's grown on any day after you planted it, but you won't make such a profit. The max you can wait is six days, and after six days you can sell the red turnip for a huge 16,000 bells!

Now, about the white turnips, Joan sells them in bunches of ten for a variable price. I suggest that you buy at least 100 turnips. This is where the Stalk Market comes in. The idea is to sell the turnips you bought from Joan for a higher price that what you bought them for. The price for turnips changes every morning and afternoon, so you have to check with Tom Nook often. I made a huge mistake once:

Bought them for: 93 bells each
Sold them for: 56 bells each
Next day the price to sell was: 536 bells each

Make sure you don't make that mistake, because I still get mad about it now, even...

@SMGS101 - Silver watering cans can even bring red turnips back to life. You can get one by buying 50 or more flower bags from Nook. It's sent to you in the mail.

@SpearOfGoth If the time on your wii is different than the time on your animal crossing game you wont be able to get red turnips because you have to see her/him whatever exactly at 6am if theres any time differences it doesnt count:P

when you say "syncronized" do you mean the date and the time have to be exactly the same???

maybe this will settle this argument:

Joan not having any red turnips at all times IS A CONSEQUENCE OF TIME TRAVELING. To fix the problem you need to syncronize the wii time with the game time as well as the date. You can time travel as long as the wii clock and game clock are syncronized. However i still recommend that you dont time travelat all it is still not known whether the solution will completely erase all glitches but it will definitely fix the joan problem.
