Wii hack 4.1

hey man i just bought the wii and its a lu72 4.1u so all i need to do is download that file put it on the sd card and thats it?
also when i went to the shop channel it asked me to update, is that the 4.2 update? i didnt do the update yet thinking it was gonna mess up

Dont update the shopping channel, once you have homebrew you can get the new shopping channel through wad manager. What system firmware have you currently got installed?, this method works for 4.0 and lower, It is possible that it works with 4.1 but i cannot guarantee it

i got 4.1u atm

@robricci Try it at your own risk as i do not know if it works on 4.1 i think it might though

i gotta problem, when it loads, on the homebrew browser, it initialises, but after that it says:
unable to initialise FAT subsystem, exiting.
Your SD card may not be placed in the Wii correctly, i tried a lotta of times, but i can't! Please help me man.

i have got a problem, when i load the homebrew browser, it does load, but after a seconds, it quits, i don't know why, i tried a lotta of times...

will this say un supported data with the question marks

Anyone has tried this on a newer Wii, with s/no LU 64 or LU 70 ? It is on a current firmware of 4.1U
