  • I so agree with that comment about rock being a show. you pay money and that's what you want - an experience. unless you're a diehard fan, that's usually what you're there for.

  • I wouldve been 2 years old. D': Im sad that I have to grow up with fucking Justin Bieber !

  • Burswood Casino had booked out the front sections, A to F for its corporate members only. The seats were $350 each. I had a fellow U2 fan friend who worked at the Casino, so he bought a bunch of us some tickets. We were hardly in our seats the whole night. Bono was a little nonplussed by the fact that seats in the front were not available to the public, Seriously pissed him off. Bono wanted to get rid of the expensive seats that most fans weren't allowed access to.

  • @lancethecod I remember Bono shouting 'We've got to get rid of these fucking seats'

That was pathetic having seats at a rock concert and the security were idiots that night. Concert rocked, the front section sucked.

  • That is not what he meant, he meant as big or as famous or as great/large as the beatles....

  • this guy is wise, unfortunately, no, most people really don't wanna be the beatles, they wanna be indie crap.

  • i think they got those shirts with the muscles on them so that they wouldn't look bad next to larry. just a thought....

  • I was at this Perth concert & remember Bono making a remark about getting rid of the seating. There was no general admission, just blocks of seating and the security guards wouldn't let us stand up on the seats and party! The concert though was fantastic, even if the olive wouldn't fit in the dome!
