Overrated crybaby cant even get off the bench in israel. He's got no game other than dunking and putbacks. Terrible footwork, cannot create a shot, no handles. But the worst is his inability to take criticism and improve. He is already been passed by younger players.
Actually, I'm from Austin, and I am a Titans fan because of Vince. He's like jesus around here, and I love him. I was just saying that it was hard to really get a handle on VY's skill set in college cause he could do whatever he wanted because he was a superior athlete.
So, I guess you think that after 2 years of playing Vince Young is a bust? Get real. At least Vince won at other levels. This dude isnt as good as advertised. I was telling my girl he doesnt have to shoot since he is that much better than the other kids. He signed for so much less than I thought he would too. I hope he can shoot but, this video doesnt show me a player that should go against the grain and go overseas... Looks like Leon smith to me.
Well why would you shoot when you can just dunk every time? It's hard judging talent when they are so ridiculously better than the competition. Look at Vince Young...
What about the fact that college isn't for everyone? Maybe he doesn't want to screw with getting a diploma (or maybe he's not smart enough, or doesn't care)... He will still get the same access to the NBA draft, if not more. Maybe playing overseas will develop his game even more than college. AND he won't have to take money UNDER the table, AND it's not like he would have stayed 4 years in college anyway, so it's either 300k or half a diploma. Seems like maybe a good move to me.
School is not for everyone, the kid wants to play against the best so he is going to Europe to prepare for the best. Selfish??? how is he selfish??? he has done everything that he wanted to at the HS level, he said it himself that he is bored of it. Most of the kids in HS you more than likely wont see the rest of your life. He is preparing for the NBA period
If anything going to school will make money problems even worse for his family. Yes it will be good for the future once he's done with school, but it's not like he's going to be a doctor after he graduates you fucknutt he's going to be a professional basketball player.
In your words: chosing hundreds of thousands of dollars over going to college FOR 1 YEAR is being a loser. Maybe you are the sore loser because you went to college for 7 years and you still can't make as much money as he does.

I can see little potential in him. He doesn't appear that fast and is using his size as an advantage while ignoring his other skills.
