Music video edited in October 2001 for Kenneth "Vibrating Scakes" Alleyne's independence hit "Our Nation Is Born.

This song is synonymous with Vincentian independence as it is what Scakes performed at the first Independence Calypso Competition on October 27th 1979, making him the first Independence Calypso King.

In spite of the song's popularity, it ran for 22 years without a music video (As you can imagine music videos weren't a big thing back then).

While working at Island Koncepts Video/Graphic Production Studio, I came up with the idea of a music video to go with the Independence Special that was to be part of the Inside Our program that airs every Sunday evening.

The video is now immortalized in media and is played every year during the October month
