Before any of you start rambling, please be aware that Ovi makes 18 times more than Perreault ($9.5mil vs $525,000). Also, if any of you think the Capitals are paying Ovi that kind of money to put up 35ish (second year in a row at that pace) goals a year and 75ish points, you know nothing about hockey.

Sorry you feel like my opinion on the internet is always wrong. Bottom line is he is not scoring like he should be anymore. His suspension was crap and Michalek not getting even a slap on the wrist was crap.

He is slipping below that in my opinion! He's 19th in goals and 41st in points... That stinks! I am a Capitals FAN and I am expressing my opinion. He is not doing what he used to do anymore.

he has 7 and the good ovechkin would have at least 30 goals by this point and at least 50 points. It was a joke he got selected to the All-Star game. He is playing bad for HIS standards. He is still putting up points and is one of the most dynamic and exciting players in the game. Furthermore, being an "all-star" is not completely dictated by statistics. Even when Ovechkin was "playing bad" he still had an impact on each and every game. He has not been the "best," you are correct. But he still is "one of the best" and still plays like one as well.
