Loved the Black Knight and Spirit Host models, hope you don't mind if I take a bit of inspiration for my own Vampire Counts army... I love the Dryad models, hate the GW Black Knights, and have a bunch of old bretonnian knights lying around... I think you've answered my problems!

hey im starting a vampire counts army and i was wondering if this sounds any good

core 40 skeletons (4 groups of 10), 10 flesh hounds (2 gorups of 5) and 2 corpse carts both with unholy lodestone.

speicial 40 grave gaurd (2 groups of twenty or 1 big block of em).

rare vargulf.

heros wight king with killing blow on 5+ axe 2 vampires.

lord a vampire lord with fly the lord of the dead and etherial..

@hellball5 most sounds good, but you might want to take bigger blocks of skeletons or more vampires with lord of the dead. With those smaller units, you are basically just relying on that lord casting invocation successfully. If you take slightly bigger units, you know that they can probably hold out for a turn without being recovered.

i wanna start a all vampirecount zombie army! just imagine a entire of zombies and a vampire lord just that omg infant amount of troops wave after wave it of zombies! lovin it

That would be good :) however, it would cost an awful lot of money/points/time. And you must include some necromancers or vampires to raise em back :)

@hellball5 give the corpsecarts belfire in stead of unholy lodestone if your having two corpse carts the enemy wizards will be a -2 to casting and since it's 24" range, you'll be getting them quite alot just remember to keep those corpse carts behind a friendly unit :D

ILM3000 the fact that skeleton warriors actually have saves make them better at holding objectives

what's the point of taking skellies? Ghouls are way better. Unless there's something I've overlooked. If I have, please tell me what. It's just that everyone seems to take them (skellies) when they're so completely rubbish.

just make sure when you buy the zombie boxes to purchase some empty bases and all of a sudden your 20 zombie box turns into 40 or 100 zombie box (if you do it right)

ok so what would you suggest haveing both of the other vampires with lord of the dead and blocks of 20 skeletons?
