...I figured it out. Kingdom Hearts is comprised of all the hearts of the universe, therefore just like almost all other hearts, its nature is constantly changing, so it cannot at any one point be only one or the other. It is constantly adapting to the feelings of the universal occupants, changing to whichever is most prominent at the time. So, if, let's say, 75+% were feeling the need for revenge, it would be darkness. However, if it were the other way around, it would be light. Simple(ish).

Wait... when Ansem opens Kingdom Hearts, it starts pouring out Darkness. Then Sora says "Kingdom Hearts is LIGHT!" and then Kingdom starts pouring out Light... WHAT THE HELL? MIND FUCK!

Well, he chose shield at the beginning. So, he got MP Haste at level 63 (right after finishing off Ansem). In HellDragon's playthrough (which was covered in most of the vid before final boss), he chose sword, so he already have MP Haste since level 45.
