  • the violin world needs Maxim back! As much as he's a great conductor, I still want him to "unretire" as a violinist...he was one of the few modern violinists who truly moved me musically.

  • Quiet. Vengerov is great.

  • What sorcery is this!!

  • insane

  • omfg this is wonderful but he plays it like such a douche. look at his face, I mean that's hardly necessary

  • BRAVO!!!

  • My jaw dropped within the first twenty seconds.

  • Just lovely, honey drenched tone on every note, and clear, flawless intonation. Not even one note is thrown away carelessly ugh. That 2nd violinist principal is prob thinking "that man...I hate him!"

  • he holds you spellbound visually and artistically. What a sound!

  • @pppsssssssss

Let's be honest, he's a terrible and embarrassing conductor. Unfortunately I think he has physical injury which prevents him from playing violin full time. Such a beast of a violinist!

  • I can never get enough of this piece. What is it with Russians and their knack for conveying dark intensity?? And those 32nd triplets/sextuplets...so urgently beautiful.

  • and someone said that edvin marton is the worlds best... sorry but i dont think soo... this guy!!!! ^^^^^^^^^^
