BNSF Christmas Train In Glendora On The Pasadena Sub

The first westbound run of the day. The 2007 annual BNSF Christmas train running out to City Of Hope via the Pasadena Sub (ex ATSF Second District). In this view, the train is seen from a 'going away' (i.e. train running 'backwards') angle. This was due to the fact that it was a westbound move and it was in the morning. To capture the train from an approach view would've required pointing the camera towards the sun, resulting in poor shadow side views of the train. Note the cantilever signal in the background. This is a relic from the c.1950's and is the only one of its kind still on this line. The view here is approximately 200' east of the Pasadena Ave grade crossing in the city of Glendora-a similar view but from opposite directions as my other 2007 video at this spot.
