The Date

This is the second cut of the film...[I fixed up the ugly yellowish color that the original upload had.]

An online couple finally decide to take things to the next step.

Inspired by one of HappySlip's videos called "Speechless". This was first a project for my film class - to tell a story using 10 pictures. When I finished the project, my film teacher told me that this was a "shootable" project, so by the end of the semester, I shot this short film....

As weird as it sounds, they should be lucky to have their laptops with them. Most people enjoy the anonymous veil of computers when chatting and let go of all of their barriers. But when you meet them in real life, they just close up. Even hearing them breathing can be a difficult task. I guess some people just need the computer as some mask to hide behind.

This mentality was wonderfully translated into a movie.

Although I would have liked to hear the actors voices ;)
