A grey and drizzly evening in Birmingham, England so the perfect opportunity to sit down and record another Vlog. This time I'm talking about my previous film, Dead Things, an amateur / low budget horror short made with friends while volunteering in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2007. A lot of good memories of the shoot and premiere and some photos also. I'll be uploading both parts of Dead Things after this, so please stay tuned. Enjoy!

@dornravlin It's a really diverse country with everything from thriving cities to tribal communities and historic castles and amazing mountains. People often associate Ethiopia with images of famine and poverty and though there is visible poverty there, there are also many signs of wealth and decadence also. I loved my year there.

Interesting vlog and a really inspiring story! I can relate 100% to what you said about audience reaction and how satisfying it feels when people emotionally react or give you a compliment afterwards, to a movie you've made yourself! it's a unique feelng that I wish I would feel more often!
