Joe’s POV

Yo, wassap?
I’m Joe Jonas. 22, married and having a perfect life. I have loving wife, great house, wonderful job.. What else could you want from life? „"Joey.."“ Speaking of wives.. That’s Demi. She’s the one I really truly love. We got married almost a year ago. May I mention, she’s pregnant? Yup, it’s almost 9 months. I made my way upstairs. We have really beautiful house that we bought with a little help from my parents and grandparents. But of course, I’m gonna pay them back. So, I opened the door and Demi was lieing on our bed, as always. When she was 7 months pregnant, the doctor told her that she’s working too hard and basically, and almost literally, tied her in this bed. So now, that’s what she does most of her days. Watching TV, reading books and so whatever. But most of all.. We both are waiting for the baby to born. We didn’t want to know, who will it be. We thought it’d be a great surprise. But we have names ready. If it’s a girl, she’ll be Marie Demitria Jonas. And if it’s a boy, he'’ll be... well, we haven’t really made our decision yet. „"Joe.."“ she was kind of breathing heavily and I got worried. „"Yes, baby?“" I made my way to her and sat on the side of our bed. „"Joey.. I-I think it’s the time.“" „"Um.. time for what? It’s 1.45 and almost time for lunch, if you mean that and.."“ She shook her head as a no. "„No, Joey. I think, the baby is coming.“" WOAH, it’s like 2 weeks.. No, 1 week.. Hold on wait... The due is tomorrow. „"Really? We have to get you to the hospital."“ Demi smiled and nodded and I helped her sit up. I pulled out the suitcase from our closet, should I mention that we have that packed since she was 6 months pregnant. There’s everything she, and the baby of course, would need in the hospital. I took it into one hand and with other I helped Demi up. She leaned to me and we headed towards the stairs. It looked like Mount Everest now.. I knew that we should’ve bought a house with one floor at the first place. But well... Somehow we got downstairs, still alive. I opened the car door for Demi, helped her in and threw the suitcase to the backseat. I walked over to my side of the car and when I was about to open the door, I noticed how my hands were shaking.. I’m really going to be a father tonight. From now on, there’s going to be the three of us. The thought made me smile and I opened the door. I started the engine, with a few stops.. Yeah, I was that nervous. Demi looked at me and laughed a little, which turned into a little scream of pain. I quickly glanced over at her, not wanting to cause an accident. „"How are you?"“ She smiled. Even when she’s in pain, she smiles. "„I love you, Joe.“" I chuckled. „"Yes, Demi. I love you too."“ I turned around the corner and we got into the hospital. Again, I helped her out of the car and decided to take the suitcase later. We got in and I yelled for somebody to come and help her. A woman came with a wheelchair and rolled Demi away. I quickly jogged behind them. We got into a room with bed and plain white walls and they lied Demi on it. One nurse yelled: „"Call the doctor, pregnant woman here."“ I stood next to Demi and held her hand. The doctor came and asked Demi to push. After few times, she looked at me with her forehead all sweaty and I’m pretty sure I saw a tear coming from the corner of her eye. „ "I hate for this, I really do.“" I chuckled and kissed her quickly on the cheek. „"Love you too.“" The doctor asked her to push one last time and she grabbed my hand really, really hard. I knew she was strong, but that strong? Anyways, after few seconds I heard baby crying and Demi sighed and relaxed her grip. The doctors took the baby away, washed it and then gave it back to us. To Demi, to be exact. „"It’s the boy. What will the name be?"“ I can’t even describe the feeling, there’s no words. It’s just... awesome. Demi smiled at me and whispered: „"David Joseph Jonas?"“ I carefully ran my fingers through the babys little curls, probably from me, and nodded. „"I love it."“ Demi smiled and kissed him on the top of his nose.
