This has been my favourite book! Laurence Hill has visited my school one time and I was very fascinated with every historical facts he told. The book makes me imagine a realistic world during its time periods.

I must read this, some of my ancestors were spanish slave traders trading at guinea bissau.
Slavery is as old as history itself. People had to do what they did to survive the best they could.

A great book... beautifully written and an extremely touching story. One of the best books I've read. I hope it will soon be adapted into a movie.

i am hoping that this movie would be adapted into a movie in the futur very soon..iT's an amazing book.. The best book i have read so far.
