  • NXT 2.0 doesn't recommend it, but I have but I wiped it off before it completely dried and never had a problem. I have also put it on my windows and the water just beads off....

I have tried all the products out there, and Meguiars and Mother's products are the best on the market for the regular consumers.

  • Can it be applied on plastic as well?

  • liguid polish is the key word, silicones aren't waxes, again misleading advertising, but again, it's a good product but won't last long becasue harsh elements like rain washes it off. You'll need to apply every couple of weeks to keep the shine, and really who wants to do that all the time. I've used it, like the results, but I now use meguiars nxt 2.0 and the results are the same when finished, if not better and the shine lasts and protects alot longer than turtle wax ice(POLISH)..

  • Thanks for your reply,

On their website they stated that ice liquid polish is a clear wax %)

    ICE Liquid Polish

ICE® is a clear wax formulated with completely new technology that blends silicone and hydrocarbon polymers to provide extraordinary shine and durability.

  • If you want to avoid two steps, I would suggest Meguiars NXT 2.0 wax. it's a little more expensive than turtle wax ice, but I was very impressed with the results. It's a one stage process, sealant and wax in one step and it lasts about four month's, easy t put on and easy to take off. I use the paste wax, takes a little more time, but it's well worth it. You can search NXT 2.0 on you tube to see results others have gotten.

  • Yes, Turtle wax ICE is a polish, not a wax, even though the label is disceiving. If you read it closely, it states its a polish. Polish and wax are two different things. Polish nourish's the paint suface, wax protects the surface from harsh elements. turtle wax ice is a very good product, I have used it, but if you want the wet look to last more than a couple of weeks, you really need a top quaity wax on top of the turtle wax polish to keep the shine lasting. Wash, dry car, polish, then wax.

  • Sorry for that but I'm confused.

Now ice is wax that should be put after washing the car right?

Then if I want it to stay I need to use polish to finish the job. am I right?

  • no, polish brings out the shine and gives the finish the wet look, wax is the protectant... If you use Turtle wax alone, it will wash off in a few rain showers and then you're back where you started

  • I think ice is the last to put

  • Puta mierda de video, hijo de puta, cabron, perro asqueroso.
