This is a recording of my run through a level in the classic DOS shareware game, SkyRoads, made by Bluemoon. For downloads and music, their official website is here:

(There is no sound in this video simply because my resource limitations preclude capturing video *and* audio while running this game in DOSBox.)
This was one frustrating road, which is why I'm happy to have finally completed it.
It took me a while to figure out these main points:
1) How to get past the grey tiles in the beginning.
I figured I could use their velocity-fixing properties and jump ONTO them with 1/2 the velocity needed to get to the target platform, which then becomes the velocity when jumping OFF of them as well.
2) That horrible L-turn/dead-end (the pink walls).
I finally noticed the left wall had a part that was lower than the rest, and jumped onto it. Turns out the yellow ramp is actually just to the left of that. So you can drop down onto the yellow ramp before you even see it.
3) Running out of gas just before the goal.
Understandably the most frustrating; this had me trying to run though the level at full speed to beat the gas countdown (all in vain, of course). And the whole level is in warm colours -- not a blue tile in sight. But after having run through both penultimate tunnels and still not finding the gas, it turned out to be in the hole in between them.
Looking at your video, now i see what you mean. Im going to try that when i play that road. Thanks!
