  • Do you really need such beefy hardware for a 2D pinball emulator? Are they really that demanding?

  • @caramelzappa The 2 monitors setups don't need as much raw CPU power as the 3 monitor ones, but this mini-hyperpin with only 2 monitors currently could use an video card upgrade. The HD VP tables being produced today can crush a lesser video card. I still talk with the current owner of this machine, and he has had a couple (not many) newer tables that had loading issues - I beleive that he has found "workarounds" for all the tables he likes.

  • Looks great! i would love to have the plans for it if possible.

  • @johansjg I don't really have any plans for it. If you are planning on building one of these machines, I'd recommend checking out this site: hyperspin-fe .

com/forum/ They have alot of people with different builds.

  • beautiful

  • @cliffbeauchamp Thanks - I'm working on the cabinet sideart - it'll be the "finishing touches" once I get it ordered and applied.

Wow that's good to know. I didn't realize these needed so much power. I was dabbling with the idea of building one, so that's really good info to know. Thanks!

  • How much did this all cost you?

And would you make one to sell?

  • looks great - most people would agree with you... nanotech device is no good.
