Why post a picture of the real Platters with Tony Williams and play a copy by a different artist- a more inferior copy also ?

@hillcresthiker I downloaded the song from ares, I didnt know there were different versions but I did notice a difference from other videos. A mistake I thought wouldnt matter

@tavolorgia These petty little differences only matter to old timers like myself who are "purists" and dont like anything but original material or original artists. Overall its good that there is still interest in this wonerful song- even though its not the "prime" recording done by Tony Williams, released in November of 1955. This incredible song, by the way, was written quickly by Buck Ram, the groups manager, supposedly in the bathroom of a Las vegas hotel.

This is sung by Tony Williams's replacement, Sonny Turner, who replaced Tony in 1959. Sonny is a great singer, in his own right, but he's not an original Platter.

Put in "only you platters" on YouTube and there are a few versions of the original- try listening to Unicorn58's version- its the original from 1955 with the original singers.

This has to be embarrassing to the real Platters, most of all to whomever is singing. Not even close!! What kills me is you have the real group pictured. Needs to be law!!
