Printing from the internet can be a bother. Sometimes it doesn't print correctly.
Also there are times you only need a snippet of information from a web page.
This method allows you to copy and paste just the info you want.
A handy use of 2 great tools.
Microsoft Word in used in the video but the method should work in most Word Processors, and many other programs.
Home it makes your computing more enjoyable.

  • You have to consider that this video is already 4 years old, there are many, many possibilities to do research faster than with the method shown in this video. Me for example I'm using clickto, the selected text is copied to a word document without pasting it (just click on the appearing icon), it's much faster and I can launch a search with wikipedia without entering the site (just click on the appearing icon ;) to get the description of a word I don't know

  • Beautiful and fantastic teaching. May GOD bless you friend

  • Great idea and nice tutorial! It makes me no waste time. Very useful. I combine the tool with Click.to app, It´s very practise. My tip clicktoapp . com

  • @generalarthu the same thing happens to me if you know how to fix it please tell me.

  • This does not work for me.

I can copy txt & image empty boxes, but no actual images.

    I use: Windows7, Firefox, & Word 2003.

I have been absolutely unable (by any method) to get the images into the empty box that Word created during the copy-paste routine.

    Any ideas?

  • how come i can't copy and paste anything onto word? it says that the information i copied exceeded the limit on word. i tried copying one word, and the same thing comes up again. how do i fix that? it was working before

  • actually that problem refers to copying & pasting from pdf not internet maybe pdf keeps the format even when you're pasting it to word. maybe that's why there are programs like pdf to word (which i always thought was stupid since you could cut & paste from pdf anyway but maybe that's why because it saves you loads of time from manually going to the first word on teh left & deleting the space b4 it so it joins the previous line to make it longer} as well as word to pdf.

  • Q:when i copy & paste from Internet & put it in word the paragraph stays the same. ie the number of words to a line stays the same. ie if 7/8 words are in the line on Internet then when you paste it to word it will still be 7/8 pages on word no matter if the margins allow for twice that much ie14 or 16 words for that line. Its not formatting as that implies the size & style of text Ariel etc & putting it in notebook first strips the formatting to plain text but doesn't change words to a line

  • Nice tip sheet. My aunt would really like to see an Excel spreadsheet tip sheet!

  • Thanks,

I do a lot of research on the net. Your method is simple and will save me hours.

I have seen some of your other videos and find them all to give good information.
