Royal Call Transistor Tape Recorder Playback Demonstration.wmv

This is a playback demo of a Royal Call 1960's budget transistor tape recorder before cassettes were commonplace. I've got a bad habbit of hording junk and later fixing it. I couldn't remember quite how bad these things are, until I did this demo. For curiosity purposes hoofbags will review 'Interesting Junk' on my Web. Got loads to go! The one here has a recurring problem where a little steel ball keeps popping out of the switch. The first one I encountered was owned by a Greek Cypriot family and they'd send audio greetings to each other between there and England on birthdays and similar occasion, where it would perform this function reasonable well! Ahh...sweet! :o)
